Water Deep Sea Fishing
Spear One, when headed offshore, we will look
for diving flocks of seabird.
Any school feeding action tends to attract
and excite birds. This is usually an indicator of
bait fish being pushed to the surface by predators.
Once located, we will anchor down and begin to chum
with live bait. The ocean will come alive with predators
such as Tuna, Bonita, Sailfish, Wahoo, King Mackerel,
and Barracuda, to name a few. These fish can be taken
any way your heart desires.
On fly, spin, or casting top water lures, it
does not matter. Only a small number of anglers have
seen this style of fishing. This will be the most
exciting fishing experience you will ever have!

Fishing" in Key West will not only provide to best
table fair, but action as well. It is not uncommon
to catch 20 different species of fish in a day on
the reef. A lot like Blue Water Deep Sea Fishing,
we start by anchoring up the boat and chumming with
ground up fish and live bait. In minutes you will
start to see fish in the chum slick. While one of
you pulls on the surface feeders the other will drop
baits to the bottom for Grouper and Snapper. It's
a blast and is action packed!
are hundreds of wrecks in the Keys, deep wrecks and
shallow wrecks including The Atocha, Mel Fisher's
little gem. The deeper wrecks are fished from 100'
to 250' in depth and tend to hold the larger, loner
fish. While fishing out there it is not uncommon to
hook into that trophy, where as the shallower wrecks
hold large numbers of schooling fish. This is a highly
visual and exciting trip, great for catching fish
on the fly rod.
Famous Key West Harbor
Key West Harbor has the best Tarpon fishing in North
America. Large schools of Tarpon start to migrate
to the Harbor in March and fishing is in full swing
in April. You will see large schools of 80lb plus
Tarpon rolling around the boat throughout the day.
There are large Permit and Cobia mixed in with these
migrating fish. We anchor on top of the fish
once located and chum. It is not rare to hook a dozen
or so while fishing the Harbor. After landing
several fish we usually tie up the boat have lunch
at the Raw Bar that is less than a mile away. Once
you've regained your strength it's time for round
two, The Afternoon Bite!
